THURSDAY NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN! Farmer's Market 5:30PM-dark thru October ArtWalk 6PM-Dark ALL YEAR Old Town Cottonwood’s ArtWalk is a ‘growing’ visual and performing arts community. Main Street has new galleries, studios and businesses popping up all over. The ArtWalk down Main Street promotes the many unique art forms available in our community from Fine Arts, Funky Arts, Folk Arts, Healing Arts, Dance, Theater & Music to the hand crafted items at the Farmer’s Market location. Free of charge you may stroll the over 20 participating galleries, shops and other businesses. Some will host special exhibits with artists' receptions, demonstrations and more. Locations remain open from 6PM- dark. Pick up a free map at the Historic Cottonwood Hotel Visitor Center @ 930 N. Main St. showing all participating locations. Hop aboard a late 1800’s surrey (actually used in the movie ‘Tombstone’), pulled by Mammoth Jack ‘Jake’ and driven by real cowboy Bill Mills. A suggested $2 donation per person is appreciated. They’ll take you up to Cook ’s Marketplace, back through town and up to 5th street and back. Even Jake says is worth the extra footsteps! Thank you for supporting Old Town. You can also enjoy a guided walking tour of Historic Old Town Cottonwood. You will discover a unique array of shops and art galleries that will be open while learning about the history and culture. You will hear the stories of the infamous bootleggers of Cottonwood’s heyday. No reservations are needed. Meet at the Historic Cottonwood Hotel located at 930 N. Main Street. The tour last an hour and is from 6-7PM. $2 donations are requested. The ArtWalk is just a start in building this area's reputation as a visual and cultured community so that our local art scene becomes more visible. FALL CONCERTS BEGIN AUG. 30TH The Cottonwood Old Town Association is booking entertainment for their very popular Fall Concert Series. This year's performances will be held from 6PM to 10PM on Friday evenings beginning August 30th through October 4th. The organization is already seeking entertainers, vendors and volunteers to help with the events.
