Belegarth Medieval Combat Society is a safe, cheap, and fun sport where participants wear medieval or fantasy themed clothing and fight with foam padded weapons. Community Club meets October - June at the Verde Valley Fairgrounds on the second Tuesday each month at 6PM promptly.Clubs for youth ages 5-19 include home arts, dog, rabbit, cavy,pigeon and poultry. Clubs for youth ages 9-19 include Beef, Dairy, Swine, Lamb, Shooting Sports/Camping, Roller Hockey, Horse and Leadership. 4-H is "learning by doing" come join the experience!
The Cottonwood Community Band consists of instrumentalists from the Verde Valley and Sedona. The members range in age from middle school students to retirees. The band rehearses on Monday evenings from 7-9 PM at the Mingus Union High School Band Room and presents two concerts each year as well as performing at community events. New Members are always welcomed.
Club meets Mondays from 12:00 noon to 1:15 pm at Cottonwood Village, 201 E. Mingus Ave., Cottonwood. Guests are always welcome. No cost or obligation. Please join us!
