The Protect Our Homes Initiative is an important measure that will constitutionally shield your home from real estate transfer taxes. Our campaign will give you, the voter, a unique opportunity to vote YES to say NO to real estate transfer taxes on the November 4, 2008 ballot. Petition signatures and validation rates to be in compliance with state law are on track to meet the deadline of July 3. Once signatures are validated by Arizona officials, the campaign will receive a proposition number. We will be asking voters to VOTE YES in November to protect their homes from double taxation! New materials are being designed, with the first mailer to seniors to land in mailboxes by the end of April. Also, AAR will be conducting a REALTORŪ voter registration drive in early May.
