After years of planning, hours of volunteer labor and financial commitments from Yavapai County, the City of Cottonwood and groups such as the Verde Valley Horsemen's Council and Central Arizona Arabian Club, the Cottonwood Equestrian and Animal Events Center is officially a reality.
"We're going to have a first-class center for everyone in the Verde Valley and hopefully the state to use," said Ginny Rench, who, along with her husband Steve, has been working for several years to get the center constructed.
