Full Description:
Storm water runoff flowing through the Cottonwood Wash in Pima is a safety hazard to motorists trying to drive through the water flow. Thanks to the new blockages put up, the hazard has been significantly reduced.
New gates that block off the wash on the east and west sides where it crosses 100 North Street, near 300 West Street now enable the Pima Police Department or other town officials to close and lock the steel gates and prevent people from attempting to drive across the wash.
